About me

Hi! I am glad to have you on my page!

I am a first year PhD student from the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Program at the University of Oklahoma (OU), Norman, OK (USA). I am under Dr Lara Souza supervision and already involved in various projects that you can check out on the Projects tab. Check out also this link to Dr Souza’s website: http://larasouza.com/Welcome.html

Besides of being a PhD student, at OU I am also a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the course of Flowering Plants, taught by Dr Abigail Moore.

I am from São Paulo city in São Paulo State, Brazil. My homecountry houses many thousands of species of animals, fungi and plants, with many of them still undiscovered. That was one of my motivations to become a biologist and work with environmental conversation.

Currently, my research interest is in global change biology and also encompasses the effects of climate change on plant communities and ecosystem properties.  At OU, the research program I am part addresses biological questions at the levels of ecology and plant biology. Through this website, I feel motivated to share with you valuable experiences to my career.
